LANGLEY, B.C. - A woman has been arrested after a driving instructor was allegedly assaulted during a dispute in a Langley parking lot on Wednesday morning, in an incident Langley RCMP say was captured in a video that has since circulated online.
What police say happened
Langley RCMP say they received a report of an assault at about 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, in the 4800 block of 207 Street. Officers attended and arrested a woman after a driving instructor was allegedly assaulted following a dispute in a parking lot.
Police say they are aware of a video of the incident that has been shared online. The release does not describe what the video shows, and Apna News has not verified its contents.
“The interaction is disturbing and in no way a reflection of the community as a whole,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak with the Langley RCMP. “Langley RCMP are taking the report seriously and investigating the incident.”
Police have not announced any charges in connection with the report, and no further details about the woman or the instructor were released. The allegations have not been tested in court, and the investigation is ongoing.
Witnesses asked to call

The 4800 block of 207 Street sits along one of Langley’s busier north-south corridors, lined with shops and parking lots a short drive north of the Surrey border. Anyone with information about the Wednesday morning incident is asked to contact police rather than share it only on social media, so investigators can follow up directly.
