Anyone who witnessed the assault, has dashcam footage from the area at the time, or can identify the suspect is asked to call the Vancouver Police non-emergency line at 604-717-3321.

The 800 block of West Georgia Street is one of downtown Vancouver’s busiest pedestrian stretches, fronting the Vancouver Art Gallery at Hornby Street, blocks from the Burrard and Granville SkyTrain stations used by Surrey commuters travelling downtown. Police have not said what led up to the attack, and the investigation is ongoing.
